Bill Barnhill, 62 of West Paducah, passed away at 2:16 PM Sunday at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. He was an accomplished Chief and a perfect, loving husband, father and brother, who always put other people first.
Mr. Barnhill worked as a radio announcer then moved to Channel 6TV where he was the early morning Weather Man for several years. He was employed by Dynacom Plastics and most recently he worked at the Shell Station on Hinkleville Road.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Barnhill of West Paducah; his mother Katherine Barnhill of West Paducah; 7 Children, Shaun Barnhill and Chris Gash of Heath, KY, Ricky Gash of Chicago, IL, Tony Gash and Candie Moore of Evansville, IN, Alana Lynn of West Paducah, and Katie Krieg of South Bend, IN. one brother, Kenneth Barnhill of Fresno, CA; one sister Marilyn Kowsari of Norco, CA; 10 Grand Children; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Hester Barnhill.
Funeral Services were held at 2:00 PM Wednesday with Rev. Chris Renfrow officiating; burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
