Graveside home-going celebration for Billie Jo Medlin Boulton, 77 of Paducah were at
2:00 pm Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, at La Center City Cemetery in LaCenter, Kentucky.
Rev. Johnny Sams was the officiant.
Mrs. Boulton died at home on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 4:30 pm surrounded by her family
and caregivers. She was a member of Heartland Worship Center and taught Sunday
School at Heartland and Olivet Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Terry & Betty Boulton, Jon Kevin & Sherry Boulton,
and Donna Boulton, all of Paducah and Dianne & Glen Thomas of Lakeport Florida;
13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She
leaves her special friend David A. “Dody” Carlson and her caregivers and friends
Ricky & Debbie Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Hurchel Boulton; three sisters,
Mary Steele, Inez Wilson and Kathleen Howle; and two brothers, Oscar A. “Bitsy”
Medlin and Tanner Burnett. Her parents were Oscar Phillip Medlin and Annie Mae
Tanner Burnett Medlin.

Jones Funeral Home of LaCenter was in charge of arrangements.
