Ida Mae Tilford Bowles

Ida Mae Bowles, 94 of Kevil, passed away at 6:25 AM Thursday, July 19, 2007 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
She was an active member of Kevil First Baptist Church for over 50 years and a member of the Kevil Homemakers Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Clara Mae Bowles Young of Paducah; two sons, M. T. Bowles of Kevil and Lewis
Bowles of Metropolis, Illinois; one sister, Nell Clemens of Jackson, Michigan; and many grandchildren, great
grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Rev. Lee Roy Bowles, two children, Bernard and Martha June Bowles; one
grandson, Bruce Bowles; one great granddaughter, Laura Bowles; four brothers, Ed Tilford, Warren Tilford, Wilmer
Tilford and Wade Tilford; and one sister, Margaret Warford. Her parents were Thomas Tilford and Clara Borden Tilford.
Graveside services were held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 22, 2007 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Rev. Stewart Strickland
officiating. Visitation was from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday at Jones Funeral Home of Kevil.
