Billy Earl Cook, 72 of Kevil, passed away at 3:47 PM Friday, December 7, 2007, at Western Baptist Hospital
in Paducah., KY. His passing marked the first anniversary of his wife’s death.
Billy Earl worked for Caterpillar Co. and later retired from Dyna-Com. He was a devoted husband and
loving father who loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are one daughter, Suzanne Cook Lynch (James Ronald) of Kevil: two sons, Jim Cook (Virginia)
of Bloomington, IN and Frank Cook of Hardin, KY; seven grand- children, Bradley & Crystal Cook of
Bloomington, Jared Cook of Metropolis, IL, Kaitlin Cook & Kelsi Lovett of Hardin, William Lynch of Kevil
and Melissa Cooper of Barlow; and one great-grandchild, Noah Rylee Cook of Bloomington.
Preceding him in death are his wife Joyce Ferguson Cook and his parents, James Cook and Dora Etta
Vaughn-Cook-Steele.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 10, at Jones Funeral Home of Kevil with Rev.
Don Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Oscar Cemetery.
