Joyce Cook, 69 of Kevil, passed away at 8:57 PM Thursday, December 7, 2006
at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. She was formerly employed by
Tel-Service and was a member of New Liberty Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Billy Earl Cook of Kevil; one daughter, Suzanne
Lynch and husband Ronald of Kevil; two sons, Jim Cook and wife Virginia of
Bloomington, Indiana and Frank Cook of Benton; and one sister, Charlotte
Chumbler and husband Joe of Kevil; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Monty Ferguson and her parents,
Clifton Ferguson and Velma Warford Ferguson.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Sunday, Dec. 10 at Jones Funeral
Home of Kevil with Rev. Don Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Oscar
Cemetery.
