Ravenell Diehl, 89, passed away at 10:30 PM Thursday, August 23, 2007 at her home in West Paducah. She was a long time member of Harmony Baptist Church and retired from Magnavox.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Hough of Paducah, and Pam Hardwick and husband Pat, of Paducah; two grandsons, Douglas Vance and wife Karen of Colleyville, Texas, and David Vance and wife Cindy of Frankfort, KY; two great grandsons, Drew Vance of Frankfort and Nicholas Chiapputo of Colleyville; three brothers Bobby Grief of West Paducah, James Grief of Kevil and Charles Grief of Memphis, Tennessee; two great grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cleatus Duncan, and her second husband, William R. Diehl, one son, William R. Diehl, Jr. and one brother, Roy Grief, Jr.
Her parents were Roy Grief and Elvia Simmons Grief.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM Monday, August 27 at Jones Funeral Home of Kevil with Rev. Stephen Seaford officiating. Burial was at Palestine Cemetery.
