James E. “Jack” Flowers, 75 of Kevil, passed away at 7:57 PM Friday, December 21, 2007 at New Haven
Assisted Living in Kevil.
Jack was a retired farmer and worked for the McCracken County and Ballard County Department of Corrections.
He was a member of Bethel Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, and attended Rickman Road Missionary
Baptist Church. An avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing and camping.
He is survived by two sons, David Flowers (Robin) of Kevil and Ronnie Flowers of Kevil; six grand-children,
Carla Browning (B.J.)of St. Charles, MO, and Kelly, Justin, Cassidy, Christan and Cami Flowers, all of Kevil; and
two great-grandchildren, Katey and Will Browning of St. Charles, MO.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, J. D. Flowers and Velma “Peg” Blick Flowers; and one sister, June
Flowers Stone.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, December 24 at Jones Funeral Home in Kevil with Rev. Stan
Durrett and Rev. Keith Tilford officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Christian Church Cemetery in Woodville.
Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday at Jones Funeral Home, 449 North Wyatt Ave. Kevil.
