Joyce Ann Howard 1938 - 2006

Mrs. Joyce Howard, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at 3:34 AM Wednesday Nov. 15,
2006 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. She was 68.
Mrs. Howard was a graduate of East Dubuque High School in East Dubuque, Illinois; a member of St.
Frances de Sales Catholic Church in Paducah, KY; and a former member of the Ballard County Homemaker’
s Club. She retired from Tel-Service in Kevil, KY.
Surviving are her husband, Harold Howard of Kevil; one son, Scott Howard of Decatur, Alabama; one sister,
Mary Fluhr of East Dubuque, Illinois; four brothers, David MacFarlane of East Dubuque, Robert MacFarlane
of Champaign, Illinois, George MacFarlane of Moline, Illinois, and Michael MacFarlane of Ajo, Arizona; and
one granddaughter, Sophie Grace Howard of Decatur, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Esther Dalsing. Her parents were George MacFarlane and
Esther Zeigler MacFarlane.
Funeral Services were at 7:00 PM Thursday, Nov. 16, at Jones Funeral Home of Kevil where friends may
call after 2:00 PM Thursday afternoon. Father David Willett was the officiant.
Visitation in East Dubuque was at 2:00 - 5:00 PM Sunday with the funeral at 10:00 AM Monday, Nov, 20 at
Miller Funeral Home. Burial was in East Dubuque Cemetery.

comments = I was deeply saddened by the news of Joyce's passing. She was client of mine for several
months at A Cut Above in LaCenter. She always spoke lovingly of her family especially her granddaughter.
My deepest sympathies to each and everyone who knew and loved Joyce.
