Andrew Marshall Jenkins March 9,1917 - March 6, 2007
Services for Andrew Marshall Jenkins, 89, of Kevil will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Kevil. Mr. Jenkins died at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday at his home.
Mr. Jenkins was a lifelong member of Bethel Christian Church where he taught Sunday School for 63 years.
He graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Agriculture and was a retired Dairy Farmer.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Gelah Long Jenkins, two daughters, Reva Harper of Paducah, and Beverly Bobo and Son-in-law Tommy of Kevil, four grandchildren, Michael Bobo, Christina Bobo Albritton, Holly Harper Burch, and Melissa Harper Ryan; four great-grandchildren, Blaine Cartee, Lawren Bobo, Cole Bobo, and Addison Blythe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Alma Jenkins, and one sister, Mildred Flowers.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 9, 2007, with Rev. Keith Tilford officiating. Burial was in Bethel Christian Church Cemetery.
