Richard LaBronn Liner

LaBronn Liner, 71, passed away at 7:41PM Friday, April 27, 2007, at his home in Kevil. Mr. Liner began
working at TVA in 1976 and retired in 2000, and was a member of Teamster’s Union, Local 236. He was a
member of Newton Creek Baptist Church.
LaBronn was a fun and loving father, grandfather, father-in-law and husband and son. He thought his
children and all the grand. and great grandchildren hung the moon. He coached Little League baseball
and put his energy into the things that the kids were interested in. He was an avid hunter and fisherman
who loved the outdoors, his dogs, and his garden. Straight forward and kind, he will be loved and missed
my all who knew him.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Helen Burnley Liner; two sons, Rick Liner (Cindy) and grandchildren
Jessica (Travis) Kahre of Paducah, and Aaron Liner of Kevil; and Bill Liner (Marion) of Kevil and
grandchildren Billy Liner and Ciara Liner, both of Bridgeport, Connecticut; his mother, Jeanette Hughes
Liner of Tifton, Georgia; one sister, Pat Statum (Gordon) of Tifton, Georgia; two brothers, Curtis Liner of
Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia, and Tim Liner of Bridgeport, Connecticut; and two great grandchild, Ayden
Kahre and Eli Kahre, at home in Paducah.
He is preceded in death by one son, Terry Dean Liner and his father, George C. Liner.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 1, at Jones Funeral Home of Kevil with Rev. Gordon
Statum officiating. Burial was in Woodville Cemetery.
