Elizabeth Elrod Luchsinger

Elizabeth Luchsinger, 84 of LaCenter, passed away at 6:45 AM Tuesday, December
12, 2006 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. She was a member of First Baptist
Church of LaCenter and a faithful participant of the “Daybreak” program at the
Ballard County Senior Center.
She is survived by four sisters, Inez Edwards of LaCenter, Betty Pace of Barlow, Jo
Anna Burnley of Paducah, and Martha Talamantes and her husband Andy of
Barlow; and three brothers, Billy Elrod and his wife Shirley of Kevil, Donnie Elrod of
Miami Beach, Florida and Jerry Elrod of Chicago, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Luchsinger and one brother, L.
E. “Buddy” Elrod. Her parents were Gilbert and Marion Alice McClanahah Elrod.
Funeral services were at 2:00 PM Friday at Jones Funeral Home of LaCenter with
Rev. Mark Bond officiating. Burial was in Woodville Cemetery.
