Kathy Owen, 52, passed away at 2:30 PM Friday, March 16, 2007, at her home in West Paducah. She was a
member of Massac Creek Community of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Owen of West Paducah; three sons, Michael Owen of Paducah, Bryan
Owen of Smithland, and Andrew Owen of West Paducah; one brother, Bill McElrath Jr of Paducah; two sisters,
Lara Bates of Grantsburg, Illinois and Elizabeth Chapel of Paducah; her father, Bill McElrath of Paducah; and four
grandchildren, Page Marie Owen, Montanna Taylor Owen, Jetta Nicole Owen and Landry Tate Owen.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Mae Marshall McElrath.
Memorial services for Kathy Owenwere held at 11:00 AM Sunday, March 25, at Massac Community of Christ
Church in Metropolis, Illinois.

Aunt Kathy. And the guilt I feel for not keeping in touch more often. Life just gets so busy somtimes and you take
for granted that your loved ones will always be there for you. Now Aunt Kathy is gone and I'm so sorry for you
guys. You all know how very much I loved her.I have so many special memories I will cherish forever.The year I
lived with Y'all and went to Concord, Visiting when I was older and staying there at the house with Brandon, And
Aunt Kathy making those huge country breakfasts that were better than any restaurant, watching Bryan and
Brandon have their "wrestling matches" on the living room floor.These are memories I try to envision instead of
Aunt Kathys ,way too early death. I'm so sorry I will not be there with you. But know I love you all and Aunt Kathy
