LaVerne Segraves, 95 of LaCenter, passed away at 11:32 PM Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Life Care Center of LaCenter.
A native of Ballard County, Mrs. Segraves was a member of LaCenter United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, St. Mark’s Chapter #167 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
She is survived by four cousins; Vida Fabric, wife of the late Dr. Fred Fabric of St. Louis, MO, Betty Hunter, wife of the late Joseph Hunter of St Louis, MO, Peggy Boaz and husband Robert of Decatur, IL and Nancy White and husband Austin of Franklin, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Les Segraves and her parents, Samuel Pierce Trewolla and Daisy Miller Trewolla Frazer.
Funeral services were at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 21 at Jones Funeral Home of LaCenter with Rev. Eddie Bromley officiating. Burial will be in LaCenter Cemetery.
