Katherine Barnhill, 85, of Norco, California, passed away at Life Care Center of Corona, California, at 4:40 PM,
Saturday, April 12, 2008. Mrs. Barnhill, a former resident of Ballard County and West Paducah, was employed at
Tel-Service in Kevil and was a member of Heath Church of Christ.
One son, Kenneth Barnhill of Fresno, California; one daughter, Marilyn Kowsari of Norco, California; four brothers,
Bill Purvis of Paducah, Melvin Purvis of Paducah, John Purvis of Lafayette, Indiana, and Robert Purvis of Tucson,
Arizona; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren survive her.
Her husband, Bill Barnhill; one son, William E. Barnhill; and her parents, Alliew W. Purvis & Lilly Newton Purvis.l,
preceded her in death
Funeral services will be at 2:30 PM Thursday, April 17, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 576 Mt. Pleasant Church Rd.,
LaCenter, Kentucky.
Jones Funeral Home of LaCenter is in charge of arrangements.
