Gladys Rogers
1925 - 2008
Mrs. Gladys Rogers, 82 of Barlow, passed away at 4:50PM Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Western Baptist Hospital in
Paducah.

Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker and her hobbies were reading, singing, and she enjoyed sending cards and letters
to up life the hearts of friends and family. She was a member of Barlow Baptist Church.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by Charles & Jeanie Fiessinger of Cairo, Illinois, Betty & Mike Heflin of Barlow, Stephen &
Mary Fiessinger of Barlow, Belva & Tim Thorpe of Silvis, Illinois, and one daughter-in-law, Anne Fiessinger of
Cunningham; two brothers, David Hayes of Lincoln, Illinois and Issac Hayes of Anna, Illinois; 13 Grandchildren, 24
Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Everette Fiessinger, her second husband, Johnny B. Rogers, one
son, Ronald Fiessinger, and one brother, Jackie Staten. Her parents were Russell Hayes & Jessie Ozment Hayes.

Funeral services were at 1:00PM Friday, March 7, 2008 at
Jones Funeral Home of LaCenter with Rev. Paul Cannon
officiating.  Burial will be in Barlow City Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Barlow Baptist Church Building Fund, 135 N. 6th St. Barlow,
KY 42024 or to the Kentucky Department for the Blind, 220 N. 8th St. Paducah, KY 42001.

comments = Gladys' first husband was my Uncle Pete.  She was my Aunt
through all my formative years.  She was a wonderful, God-fearing woman
that I loved dearly.  She definitely has a spot in Heaven.
